Came upon Samson once
again
It took him down to Ashkelon
He struck down thirty men

took all their belongings
And bore their clothes away
To use them for
the forfeit
He promised he would pay
And Samson he was seething

The Philistines had wronged him

vengeance Samson had
His wife, meanwhile, was given to

been best man

He took a harvest goat for her
To celebrate the day

he went up to her room
Her father barred the way

caught three hundred foxes
And he tied their tails in twos
He fixed a
torch to every pair
And then he set them loose
