Led by Homosexual lead vocalist David and drummer Alshvitz MDC was force to be scared of. As in your face as every other offensive punk band there ever was and maybe more so. Smart and Intelligent lyrics and serious subjects (but with actual knowledge of the subject unlike most artists) MDC was a truly great Hardcore band and Millions Of Dead Cops/More Dead Cops is their strongest testament to this. 'Dead Cops' is a classic anti-police brutality track, and 'Born To Die' is maybe the most important song of the entire movement. 'Corporate Deathburger' is laughable satire years before the cult movie, 'Super Size Me.' 'John Wayne Was A Nazi' is bold and there is no way around it. For the hardcore movement and this sub-genre of punk it doesn't get much better than Millions Of Dead Cops/More Dead Cops, MDC nailed it with this one.     Customer Reviews for Millions Of Dead Cops More Dead Cops Cd      Punk rock at its finest      Rating:      Millions of Dead Cops(MDC) have been around for a long time, and the greatness still remains. Although for some it may take awhile to set in when listening to them. I've heard people say that they thought the music sucked at first, but then after awhile when they actually paid attention to what was being said in the song, and their opinion changed dramatically. If you really listen to the songs, there are some valid points that may open your eyes about the corporation.This is not your typical sissy "punk rock" band you usually see on MTV, this is the real deal. This cd promotes fighting back against oppressive authority, thinking freely, and degrading political scum. What punk rock is all about. If you're a serious punk rock fan, this cd is a must. Dave Dictor and company attacked issues like Phil Ochs on crack and backed up their high-speed manifestos (including "John Wayne Was a Nazi" and "Corporate Deathburger") with music that hit harder than Mike Tyson. They couldn't keep it up though, and More Dead Cops, the 1988 companion piece that fills out this disc, is a pale reminder of the band's early prime. The topics on Millions might seem a bit dated now, but none of the aggression does; Dictor jumps out of these grooves ready to rip your head off so he can pour his propaganda straight down your throat. --Michael Ruby
