Reviews Customer Reviews for Saints Are Coming      The saints came&went      Rating:      U2 and Green Day's "The Saints are Coming" revived the spirits of New Orleans when the Super Dome was reopened after Hurricane Katrina. The song was for a good cause (Bono is ALWAYS behind good causes!),but,musically,does it work? Does it have a longer shelf life than "Do they know it's Christmas" and "We are the world"? "The Saints are Coming" opens with a musical shout-out to the House of the Rising Sun. It's supposed to be a lament, but Bono sounds sanctimonious and Green Day's front man sounds whiny. It's forgettable, easy listening rock. The Edge contributes a few electrifying riffs.
