The Best Hip Hop Music in a Long Time!!!!!!!!!!!!
     Rating:
Wow!!! I've had this CD for some time now. It is one CD that I can listen to in its entirety without skipping tracks. Every cut is superb. Talib Kweli is probably the most lyrical MC in Hip Hop today. I've been listening to Hip Hop since the SugarHill Gang and I have to say that this CD is my all time favorite.

     EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!
     Rating:
This CD is so good i had a hard time picking out which track to listen to first. "This Means You"? Or "Eternalists"? I just didn't know. The hidden track entitled "For Women" is an excellent song. With the ill lyrics of Talib Kweli and the producing/DJ of Hi-Tek, you can't lose on this album. "Good Mourning", explains death and how some people a afraid to die. "This Means You", features Mos Def and is an excellent track explaining how things have changed and telling you to get up and do something about it. "Down for the Count" features Xzibit and Rah Digga and goofs on commercial artists. If you like ungerground hip-hop or looking for something to listen to thats worth its money, put down Lil' Bow Wow and grab a copy of Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek's "Reflection Eternal" (Train of Thought). I'm out for now, peace.

Silencing any suggestions that he's any less capable than his more high-profile Black Star partner Mos Def, Talib Kweli, along with DJ Hi-Tek, crafts a masterful debut with Reflection Eternal. Like Mos, Kweli displays an impressive range of styles and sensibilities--whether popping party lyrics on "Move Something," reflecting on the mysteries of the heart for "Love," or musing on hip-hop's death and rebirth for "Good Mourning." In comparison to Mos Def's status as a new funk soul brother, Kweli's more of a b-boy bookworm--erudite and articulate, but he can also let fly with fire and spark on the mic anytime. DJ Hi-Tek finally gets to show off his full range of production ability with a blend of hot, aggressive tracks ("Blast") and relaxed groovers ("Memories"). As good a debut as you could ask for. --Oliver Wang
