Only problem is that the members of republica didn't even know about it until AFTER it came out, so I won't be buying it. I was "ready to go" for a 3rd album!      Rating:      Republica's self-titled album (1996) is one of my favorite listens, every track flows together and connects styles, energy, and unique vocal flavor. I love Saffron and I enjoyed their follow-up "Speed Ballads." I'm only saddened that this Best-Of collection seems to imply that they won't be putting anything else out. If you have the CD's, it's a waste of money. But if you don't, it's a cheap way to get lots of great electronica songs you'll get addicted to fast. I don't know what's going on with the band, but I'll cross my fingers anyway that maybe they will release something new at some point.
