Reviews Customer Reviews for Hot Action Cop This is a MUST have. Rating: Rock, rap, metal... I not sure what they call it. It is a great CD. I have friends from all social, economic, race, sex, creade, national origins, and if they don't freakin like t they can get out.
Customer Reviews for Hot Action Cop Cd I TOO HAVE A FEVER FOR THE FLAVA Rating: I would like nothing more than to bring massive hate down on this CD, however, as much as I would like to, I can't. Sure, it's Rap-Rock, which in my review for 'Hybrid Theory' I stated has repeatedly proven itself to be a reprehensible b^st^rd. However, this is not your typical Rap-Rock, as it is infused with a bit of funk and quite a bit of fun. I mean just look at the cover art, this alone should give you a good idea of what you're in for. I think the only thing this music aspires to be is entertaining and fun, and that's exactly what it is. And unlike Linkin Park this Rap-Rock is devoid of contrived lyrics and any of their off-putting pretentious bull$h!+, and the musicianship here is markedly better.
No, this stuff isn't deep, nor does it demand your undivided attention, but so what, if I want full immersion I can listen to Pain Of Salvation, Porcupine Tree or the like. Furthermore, there's really not a bad song on this CD, so if you check your brain at the door there's really no reason for you not to enjoy it. I recommend this CD to anyone who likes Rock, can tolerate Rap, and just wants something funky and fun to listen to.
By the way, I've never been able to shake the fever. But like Uncle Ted (Nugent) says; "It's nothin' dangerous, I feel no pain."
