It sounds like a live fresh concert does when you go to one and hear it for yourself. It doesn't sound like weld. But I still would give it a 4 star rating and would tell you to buy it if you already own weld. What is the DVD about? First the DVD is about sound quaity. When you play it on your TV, up comes a screen not unlike the album cover where you can select set up. And set up your player for 24 bit 96 khz stereo. So let me say here that Neil Young is ahead of his time Putting in a DVD for the sound all the time. What's wrong don't they have DVD players? So if your DVD player works buy this copy. Also you get images of backstage biography with more photos of the Filmore east concert and a picture of a $5.50 pass. Now at this writing that would be $200 for a ticket to NY chrome dreams tour. It also seems to be priced right from the 3 party vendors, worth taking a look at to see if you like it. When I sat down to watch it I realize all my 35mm film was so brittle it jammed the machine at the photomart the other day they had to send the machine back to get it unjammed so maybe this is all I'm going to get here is some clipping they salvaged. So I found it cool to watch. I really got into the clips by the time "come on baby lets go downtown" played. The clips are synced to the songs played. So what I'm going to to is I play everything on my DVD player around the house anyway so I'll just play only the DVD. But the CD is for ripping on my computer and putting on a Mp3 player or making copies for my cars.
