I couldn't have been happier.     Customer Reviews for Bargainville Cd      Great album . . . and unexpectedly relevant      Rating:      The rest of the reviews have captured the spirit of the band very well and i will not attempt to explain who MF are or why they are a band worth owning. I came here to write a review of a song that's all too relevant to today's world. The final track on the album (Gulf War Song) is most unfortunately, as relevant today as it was 15 years ago when it was first written, and that's kind of depressing. It popped up while listening to music at work today and i had to stop and hear the whole song through 3 or 4 times. "Fighters for Texaco Fighters for Power Fighters for longer turns in the shower" Fruvous has always had an amazing way with words. The song FLY is a great example of this. I'm sure Moxy had hoped that Gulf War Song would be a reaction and possibly an postlog to a short, somewhat contraversial military conflict in the early 90's. They could never imagine that it would become even more relevant over a decade later, and stay that way (seemingly) indefinitely. I'm monumentally suprised this hasn't become a more popular song in light of recent events. Even if you can't afford the album, go buy the song somewhere. If you're lucky, it won't make you cry.
