But I was disappointed that several tunes sounded like mere Dean Martin impersonations. Raul should just sing! I don't know who produced this CD, maybe Raul did. But the concept was off on several tunes. I can recommend this to big fans of his, you'll find several songs you love. However, his original "Not So Merry Christmas" is a great tune that has so many 1960s influences that its scary. You can almost see Phil Spector behind the board. He has some interesting takes on classics (most work, but they are different) and other tunes he stays pretty traditiional. I love the use of the guitar on this. I think if you have diverse tastes in music, you will love it.
