Reviews Customer Reviews for Me Gustas Tu Very good Rating: You can now buy the song Me Gustas Tu by Manu Chao from the Once upon a time in Mexico cd by Robert Rodriguez. Not only do I recomand buying that cd for this song (its really good, you definatly won't be disappointed.)
I must admit, this is the onl song that I have listened too from Manu, but definatly recommand more of his music, unfortunatly it appears that you cannot find it in America.
Customer Reviews for Me Gustas Tu Cd Funny, special, refreshing! Rating: This song is really special and exotic. A little reggae on the edge, a lot of funny sounds too, I just love this! I have listened to the album but I bought the single instead because this is the best song of the album in my opinion. La Primavera (track 2) is a (short)extension of Me gustas tu. The same music with different lyrics, 1:52. (I don't know about track 3 since my copy only has two tracks.) Usually this is not my kinda music but I really fell for Me gustas tu.
Editorial Reviews for Me Gustas Tu Audio Cd Album Details Forlorn, bittersweet single from the 2001 full-length 'Proxima Estacion ? Esperanza' became a smash across Europe during the summer. Here Chao, a native of Spain who was raised in France & was previously known for fronting Mano Negra, expounds on what it is he likes. His specialty is certainly Latin-alternative & folk tunesmithy, but to label him is to limit him, as his influences are many: punk, reggae, ska, Calypso, etc. Also features two additional tracks from 'Proxima'.
