Reviews Customer Reviews for Fighting The World      Have Loincloth.........Will Shred      Rating:      I fell in love with this album back in the late 80's. Sure it does have a certain amount of "cheese" factor...so what? These guys rocked. Every song on "Fighting the World" will test your stereo's capabilities. Can it handle the crushing, pounding drums of Scott Columbus? Will you "Blow Your Speakers" when Ross the Boss (cheese factor..I know) starts shredding the guitar? Joey DeMaio's bass work shines through and provides a solid heart beat to the songs. And as always, Eric Adams provides enough growling menace and shriek to his vocals, it's sure to grab any metalheads attention. This is a solid band. I read recently that Manowar holds the Guiness Book or World Records title for loudest performance. You won't doubt it after giving this disk a spin. Manowar is not gonna please the mainstream audience. Their tunes about wizards and warriors are only going to be enjoyed by a niche audience at best, but if you happen to groove on ferocious metal with a fantastical spin...then you won't find a better band than Manowar.     Customer Reviews for Fighting The World Cd      Superb Metal      Rating:      I love this album. I used to listen to it on my commute to work in Spain. It brings back some great memories. One song in particular reminds me of Superman. I guess that's fitting for their image. Every song rocks, no question. Can't say much more that hasn't already been said. This is METAL and I highly recommend it.
