Reviews Customer Reviews for Baptism      This is a very good album      Rating:      Baptism was quite a surprise to me as I caught myself listening to it more I would've thought... That said, one of the things that caught my attention was that Baptism sounds more real and less commercial than Lenny's two albums that preceeded it. Of course he enjoys his status as a star but I can see where he comes from when he sings songs against it - it really might be tough sometimes. I particularly dig the Sly Stone-influenced Sistamamalover, that groove... Baptism is also a quite balanced album full of nice contrasts and definitely serves as a rebirth on his career.     Customer Reviews for Baptism Cd      If you dont buy this album there is something wrong with you.      Rating:      This cd can be had for less than a dollar used...what are you waiting for. If you can not afford a $1 for this album than you dont appreciate great music. Put this cd on while you drive to work and I gurantee that you will start moving to the music and just when you are ready to wail a primal scream Lenny will bring you back down to earth with something nice and slow. Needless to say this album is not his most known work, but I feel that it is just as good as anything else he has done. Like I said in my first line, pay the $1 or you just dont appreciate good rock n roll.
