Reviews Customer Reviews for Lara Fabian      Surprising For A First Album      Rating:      Lara Fabian just keep impressing her fans with every album release. I discovered this great artist for the first time in 2004 when I listened to her smash hit I Will Love Again. Soon after that I bought A Wonderful Life and was truly captured by this beautiful voice. After that I bought her French album 9 to hear how she performs in French. I was so impressed that I also bought her Live DVD's after that. By now I had the desire to buy all her albums, but was a bit hesitant about her first 2 because I knew very little about them and it was her first attempts in her career, so you would expect some flaws in her music. Her first and self-titled album proved me wrong. Lara made a name for herself by writing songs like Je M'arrêterai Pas De T'aimer. Most of her success was thanks to Rick Allison, her music partner and producer, but never underestimate Lara's song-writing and vocal talent. Qui Pense à L'amour and Réveille-Toi Brother gives the album a young and energetic feel, but Lara's serious side comes to the front lines with Je M'arrêterai Pas De T'aimer, Dire and Croire. This album may not be as good as Nue or Pure, but it is still worth buying. Every fan will find it interesting to see how this young talent developed into the French powerhouse we know today.     Customer Reviews for Lara Fabian Cd      celine's better      Rating:      reviewer "VAB" is wrong. celine dion has surpassed lara fabians vocals on many occations( i should know i have all her albums and lara fabians). saying that she was trying to rival lara is crazy since celine has been making albums since she was 12 and was already known in the french speaking world before lara fabian.i give props to lara for writing but not all of her songs are very good though i do like her.further more, about how many languages celine has sung in: french, english, italian, spanish,japenese,german. don't get me wrong i like lara fabian but she is no celine.
