Reviews Customer Reviews for Wanted Dead Or Alive      "A true Hip-Hop classic, dead or alive"!      Rating:      On Kool G Rap & DJ Polo's 2nd classic album, they brought us more of that classic 1990's Hip-Hop from "The Streets of New York". G Rap delivers lyrically (as usual) and the beats are ILL! On the track "MONEY IN THE BANK" G Rap recruits no other than "Freddie Foxx/Bumpy Knuckles", "Ant Live" and "Large Professor" and together make one hell of an underground, hard-core classic! And nothing on this CD falls less than classic! A Hip-Hop gem!     Customer Reviews for Wanted Dead Or Alive Cd      Hip-Hop Legend in His Own Time      Rating:      Simply stated, Kool G. Rap is one of the greatest rappers that has ever lived. This is unquestionably his greatest work, although Road To the Riches is a very close second. This album can be interpreted as Hip-Hop 101. His rapid fire style provided the foundation for so many contemporary MC's. I recall playing the album one night after it was released with some friends and we played it two times in a row, mostly sitting in silence as we were awed by his craftmanship. In 30 years when I tell my grandchildren about Hip-Hop this will be one of the few CD's that I will play.
