However ''Madagascar'' hits you like an atom bomb. l've listened to that song on repeat for a 45 minute stretch at one time and it only got stronger the more you listened to it. Despite being a brilliant songwriter and performer, Brenda unfortunately is not that nice of a person. When fans come up to her after a show and praise her for musicianship she doesn't seem the bit gracious. And getting her to autograph a CD that she hawks about 3 or 4 times during her show, is a nerve racking experience. She does oblige, but it's like pulling teeth with her.     Customer Reviews for Epiphany In Brooklyn Cd      It would be hard to place her in a category - she is kind of a mix of folk/punk/poetry/rock/pop      Rating:      I first heard it on college radio, and my friend who worked there got me a demo of the CD before it came out. I was stoked. She is as talented a lyricist as any out there, and actually sings beautifully. More hardcore and opinionated than the early Jewel CDs (which is fine with me), but it would be hard to place her in a category.
