Catchy hooks, layered vocal arrangements, and slightly less Pop. Trivia: the album artwork is by Prairie Prince, the ORIGINAL drummer for Journey. Prairie is a renowned artist who has done a multitude of album covers, murals, corporate-funded artwork, etc. He also left Journey to devote his drumming skills to The Tubes. At one point he was in both bands at the same time but ultimately opted to stick solely with The Tubes -- perhaps not the better choice financially but CERTAINLY the better choice creatively and artistically.
