Well written, well sung, and varied enough to be well rounded as well. On par with the best of JD's 1970s offerings. I especially like "Nothing But a Breeze", "Dreams" and "Opposite Tables". Very highly recommended.     Customer Reviews for Seasons Of The Heart Cd      An album that deserved a bigger audience.      Rating:      John Denver's star was on the wane and his marriage to Annie was either ending or just over when this album was done. Just as "Duke" (Genesis) became Phil Collins' response to his divorce, so this was John's. And it is a brilliant album, although probably John's darkest since "Take Me to Tomorrow". It deserved more exposure and should have reached a larger audience. But, since John was at the point where he would "only" sell about 500,000 albums RCA did nothing to promote it. John was dropped by RCA after his next album, "Wind beneath My Wings". People have discovered this gem over the years. If you haven't, give it a listen. Better late than never.
