I'm a firm believer that sometimes an orchestra or band "take away" the effect of the music. This is especially true with John's music. While always wonderful and entertaining, the music seems more "pure" when it's just John and his guitar or the piano. I could "feel" the music more with this CD then with others in my John Denver collection. This CD is NOT meant for listening to while you are doing things around the house. It's meant for turning the lights down low (or out)curling up on the couch, and just EXPERIANCING it. John's been gone for over ten years. But his music and what he tried to do will live forever.
