His style of music is best suited to the live arena, and there are many Brel classics here. His singing and phrasing is faultless throughout. The highlight is `Quand On N'a Que L'Amour' from the Olympia '61 disc which is even more dramatic than the original studio recording. If you have an interest in vintage French music, than you really should own this album.
