Reviews Customer Reviews for The Renovation bad audio production Rating: This was one amazing CD!!! but the guitars definately overpower the vocals throughout the whole cd. I hate that because the screams are so good!!! this band is so awsome and the guitars are melodic and also hard as I don't know what but you cant really hear the vocals. ugh it really bothers me.
Customer Reviews for The Renovation Cd Great CD, but not perfect Rating: MBE is a band that I gave a listen to a couple of times in the past and disliked. I went on another reviewers tip and listened to Becoming Misfortune, but that song just didn't do it for me. Then, recently, I caught a listen to To All Things Expendable and I immediately bought the album. I've grown to like Becoming Misfortune as well, but To All Things Expendable is really the best song to start out with.
It's brutal, technical and occasionally melodic. It's a great CD that should be checked out by all deathcore fans.
I do have a problem with MBE however. I hardly seemed to notice it after awhile but if you listen to Becoming Misfortune, you'll notice that the guitars absolutely overpower the vocals. The vocals are harsh and aggressive, but sometimes it's just not loud enough. I can barely hear them sometimes. They just have no strength and that was a real problem with me at first. It still irritates me a little but I've gotten used to it for the most part.
Still, it's a great buy.
