The Classic Struggle bring the breakdowns to a new level. Clever off-time beats with intelligent intricacies. Think of the sounds of machine guns and thunder and your almost there. Guaranteed.      Rating:      The Classic Struggle, even though they may not be the most original band out there, is a very powerful and dynamic metal band. And NO, this CD isn't all breakdowns, and the band isn't hardcore. Just wanted to correct the mind of those three mislead and ignorant 1-star reviewers. This band has some talented members, and true, they have breakdowns, but mix them in with the music and not sound sloppy. The guitar work is not all that original, but if you're a true fan, you wouldn't care. I don't have much else to say, other than to check this album out if you're a fan of bands like Glass Casket, Through The Eyes of the Dead, The Red Death, Dead To Fall, etc. Basically, if you're a fan of TRUE metalcore, you'll enjoy this.
