Never thought I'd love a re-mix album

By the time I came across Icehouse in the late 80's, they had already pretty much broken up. It took me a while but I eventually bought all their old albums and became a fan. To be honest, when I found this cd, I didnt really read the fine print about it being a dance remix of Icehouse songs. Had I read that info at the time I might have never bought it. Sorry, I cant really stand other people remixing other artists songs and especially turning them into dance club mixes.
Having said that I am shocked to find myself unable to stop listening to this cd. What these guys have done to some of Icehouses best songs is nothing short of brilliant.
Songs like "love in motion" and "lay your hands on me" are addictive. "Hey little girl" isnt bad but quite often the one I skip a lot.
If your a fan of Icehouse then I advise giving it a try. Wary of dance remixes? I was...now I love it.
