Reviews Customer Reviews for Get In The Ring      brilliant album      Rating:      i originally bought this album for the second track 'the power' after seeing the video on 'kerrang' but upon listening to the rest of the cd i realised 'hey! this album is wicked!'dont be put off by the fact that the band is german. all the tracks are sung in english, and although i still recon 'the power' is the best track, the rest of them are equally good. Being from lovely sunny england, i've only recently discovered h-blockx, as they are a german band, but i wish i had known about them when they started in 1993. i'm hoping this band will become better known so more people can rate their fantastic music. if you enjoy metal, rock, and a bit of rap then you'll love this. i'ts similar to the executioner's style, and it's got some brilliant guitar parts like something you would find on a ratm album. enjoy!!     Customer Reviews for Get In The Ring Cd      Great German Import      Rating:      Having been overseas the past six months I was exposed to some different bands that most people in the USA haven't seen. One of the best is H-Blockx. All songs are sung in English so don't be turned off because the band is German. The track that first got my attention was a remake of "The Power" feat. Turbo-B of the 80's rap group Snap. This is a metaled up version of the song that has a killer video, think "Fast and the Furious" ...! But the group is not just a one hit wonder. Songs on the CD mix between metal/rap, hard rock, and just a little slow rock. This is one of the few CD's that I enjoyed every track on. Bottom line: if you like groups like Blink 182, Linkin Park, and POD you'll love H-Blockx.
