Reviews Customer Reviews for The Best Of Gazebo Simply superb dance music ! Rating: Superb! That's the only word I find to qualify this excellent compilation. Once you buy it, stop listening to it becomes impossible. The day it arrived I listened to it three times in a row. I've known only "I like Chopin" from the 80's, I think no other music from Gazebo has been played on radio in Brazil during all these years. I simply got astonished because all the other musics from this cd are quite so good as "I like Chopin". And I finally could get a original version of this classic song, both single edit and the LP version. I only had the remix version from the 90's. I really loved "Wrap the rock", "Gimmick", "For Anita" and "Telephone Mama". Although the price of 29 dollars plus shipping and the 60% tax I paid to my country's customs it was completely worthy awhile. Thanks for Amazon and Gazebo for this really enjoyable cd !
Customer Reviews for The Best Of Gazebo Cd A very good collection Rating: This collection features the original first two albums by Gazebo, "Gazebo" and "Telephone Mama" which are hard to find in cd! It miss only one song "Strategy" which has been replaced by the original radio version of "I Like Chopin". The best tracks in my opinion are: "I Like Chopin", "Telephone Mama", "Masterpiece" and "First". People who'll buy this compilation will understand what a great and original lyricist Gazebo is! Ok the music is italo-disco but that's what italian producers wanted in Italy for artists who sung in english at that time. Gazebo speak good english as he grew up all around europe and went in english school! He also released other 4 studio albums, then became producer for east-european artists.
By the way there are voices he'll be back! If only singer-songwriter like Gazebo had the freedom to express themselves we could hear good music!
