Reviews Customer Reviews for The Dance      Made Me a Bonafide Fleetwood Mac Fan      Rating:      I was always a Fleetwood Mac fan - had their CD's "Rumours," and "Fleetwood Mac," when their CD's were still "albums" (this was before CD's were invented), but it seems that the more they do (meaning years wise), the better they get. This CD made me a true Fleetwood Mac fan. The music, the songwriting (the inspirational lyrics by Stevie Nicks), the personal love triangle stories they tell with this this CD (hear their personal recollections from this CD). If you are a Fleetwood Mac fan, I highly recommend it. If their music is not for you, then don't bother!     Customer Reviews for The Dance Cd      The Dance      Rating:      A must for FM fans. Editorial Reviews for The Dance Audio Cd      Amazon.com essential recording      Fleetwood Mac's 1997 reunion could have been the kind of event that works on video--great concert, after all--but ends up not paying off in repeated listenings on CD. But The Dance, while concentrating on the group's '70s and '80s triumphs, finds the Mac energy running high and impassioned. New songs like "Temporary One" and "Bleed to Love Her" are fine additions to the canon, while "Everywhere" and "Say You Love Me" both breeze along the way you remember them and manage a reinvention in the live setting. The dark side of the vision is accounted for with Lindsey Buckingham's crazed solo "Big Love," but best of all is "Silver Springs," wherein Stevie Nicks tears the roof off the sucker and sets fire to the rubble. --Rickey Wright
