I took the time 2 years ago to take all of these songs and put them onto a single disc to listen to in my car.... This is really sad.     Customer Reviews for The Vegas Years Cd      Something Different      Rating:      Being a hard core Everclear fan I bought this without thought. When I first listened to it I was pretty surprised. It wasn't at all what I expected from an Everclear album. I soon realized that it was a cover album so I changed my expectations and continued to listen. I loved some of the songs right off the bat but it took me a little time to really warm to the entire album. While I definitely wouldn't want all of their future work to be like this I still found the album is be upbeat and fun. I love the live bits, it's like being at one of their concerts again. Don't expect this to be like their regular work but listen anyway, you might end up enjoying it. This definitely isn't my favorite Everclear album nor is it their best work but as far as cover albums go it is certainly 5 star worthy.
