Reviews Customer Reviews for Heaven The Artist that sings - Heaven Rating: Heaven - a remake of Bryan Adams popular 1985 Pop Hit, is actually sung by a beautiful young Dutch artist by the name of Dominique van Hulst. She is featured in the song's video of which is also on the Heaven - CD. "Do" has several hit songs in the Netherlands and is very well known in Europe. She has had several CD-Singles. Her debut CD simply titled "Do", and a new release "Follow Me" is worth the trouble finding. I have purchased her CDs through on-line music stores found in the United Kingdom. Her voice is simply beautiful and her CDs are nothing less than awesome.
Customer Reviews for Heaven Cd Fabulous song! Rating: I heard this song on the radio when it first came and I liked it then but I didn't buy the single or the album then. However it's real impact, only made a real impression on me when I saw the series "Cold Case" on TV, the episode was called "FLY AWAY" and the song was used during the last six or so minutes of the program. I went hot and cold as I listened to the song and absorbed its powerful words and use of a strong voice combined with a soft piano tempo in the background. I watched and listened totally mesmerised as a tragic scene unfold as a young girl realised she is the killer of her small daughter in a tragic misunderstanding. Heaven is an amazing song when you listen to it for the first time without watching "FLY AWAY" but its evocative use in this series has given it new meaning for me. The tune will go around and around in your head long after you have put the CD away or finish watching the above episode, it is haunting, compelling, melodious, and so very beautiful. I would advise you to hear it first and then see the episode of Cold Case I am talking about. The most poignant part of the story for me was when the African American Pizza Boy who had tried to help the girl and her daughter when they were living in poverty saw her leave the apartment where the tragedy of her daughter's death took place and they look at each other for the first time in two years, and Heaven is playing in the background and you hear the words, "I'm finding it hard to believe I'm in Heaven," and you see them as they were yesterday and how they are today; both inexplicably changed by the events of two years ago. Heaven makes this episode stand out in a unique musical way that I would have never thought was possible. The song is so versatile, so beautiful and so very memorable. I've got the CD single and the ring tone on my cell phone now! I have to say that Heaven is quite simply a fabulous song that it is certainly worthy of metaphorical standing ovation.
