Still so Devo-licious
To all the belly-aching blockheads out there dawgin this project. .I say:
Don't put adult level expectations on child's entertainment. This is not for an older cat looking for a great rock album. This is for the little kids. My kid in particular loves it. . .. Looking at it from his perspective I think it is some of the best little person entertainment around. It's fun and silly and catchy and Devo. He is intrigued with the movements and music. Not to say that an adult can't get something out of this. I was moved by the interviews with Mark talking about his childhood and how he got into music (and his first pair of glasses). I personally would not crank this alone in my car. . I'd go for the adult version. . . but for the kids? ? ? Look Everybody It's A GOOD THING. . A MONUMENTAL GOOD THING~

lighten up, it's for kids

This is a fun DVD and CD for today's kids. The old hardcore DEVO fans won't like it, true, but my son digs it and what's wrong with having a new generation of DEVO fans? With DEVO's blessing this 'disney-ified' version came out. So now my son can listen to a kid's CD where the songs don't make me cringe, I call that a win-win. Besides it really is kind of ... well, cute.
