Reviews Customer Reviews for C U When U Get There      Mellow rap      Rating:      Coolio's "C U When U Get There" is a really nice, mellow rap song. It was released in 1997, when it was certified gold and went to #12 on the pop chart. The song is based on classical music - Pachabel's Canon (which you hear at weddings all the time). Coolio has always been a fairly poppy rapper, so this song isn't a major shock when compared to his past hits. The CD also includes, "Hit 'Em," which is a more typical rap song. The only disappointment is the remixes, which don't sound very different from the album version. I haven't seen much of Coolio since this song was a hit (although he rocked on "Celebrity Bootcamp"!!), but he apparently has a new CD coming out soon. I'm interested to hear what it's like. If you're looking for some rap that's a little less hardcore, then you should check out this CD.     Customer Reviews for C U When U Get There Cd      40 thevz      Rating:      Coolio raps poorly in this otherwise good song, and the chorus isn't anything exceptional, but the 40 thevz are a great rap duo that Coolio found. Although it's obvious Coolio's career is over (4 years since he released an album) atleast he found this group. They only released one album which I plan to get. 2 bad he didnt push their carrer tho, cause they tight. Thanks 4 gangstas paradise, cruisin, and the 40 thevz coolio.
