Life is too short too miss out on this...     Customer Reviews for Treasure Cd      The angelic Cocteau Twins album.      Rating:      Everytime I hear this group I am always amazed at their timelessness. In all of music history, there has NEVER been a group like the Cocteau Twins. My life was totally changed after I discovered them back in 1982, when I was the import buyer for Tower Records. There music is evidence of what we can become as human beings if we want to. Whatever created this ball called Earth we all live on, I see in Cocteau Twins music. And on each cover, the Cocteau Twins are showing the listener what they can expect to hear. And the cover of Treasure, shows this as well. The group is saying to the listener, you have to lift the veil to see the beauty of what is underneath. Whenever you listen to a Cocteau Twins album, you must play them loud, that is the only way you will be able to really hear all that was recorded. And I also suggest that you close your eyes as well, that way you will be able to surrender to the beauty of the Cocteau Twins. My five favorite songs on "Treasure" are 1)Lorelei, 2)Persephone, 3)Aloysius, 4)Ivo, and 5)Amelia. I rate this group Timeless, and this album 5 stars.
