Reviews Customer Reviews for The Pink Opaque      In my top 10 of all time.      Rating:      It's so strange to read these reviews; several reviews mentioned that the reviewers were in their teens in the 80s, discovered this band via this album and loved it. That was exactly my experience as well, growing up in the southern California desert this album was my introduction to the Cocteau Twins and I highly recommend it. I really can't find the words to describe the beauty, emotion, elation and power of these songs; Liz's voice and vocal patterns; the HUGE sounding reverberating drums (drum machine oftentimes, but used so perfectly); swirling guitars sounding like they're being beamed through some ethereal amplifier somewhere.... All of the Cocteau Twins albums are good in my opinion, especially the earlier ones. I highly recommend this album; also "Head Over Heals," "Heaven or Las Vegas," and "Treasure" as well; all being 5 star offerings.     Customer Reviews for The Pink Opaque Cd      Please....10 Stars      Rating:      How many singers do you know who can sing in a language (or seemingly a real language) and make sense of it all? Who knows what this woman is singing about? You know what, I don't care because the sound is meaningful, mythological and beautiful.
