There's a hint it was recorded awhile back. But my car has a cassette player and this has been on it the past two days. (Inherited it from my late twin brother; the last time I heard it was in his car. Thanks, man.) It's a good cassette player, which is how you know that (1) this guy should have played a lot more acoustic on this record and (2) but then what would he do with his great backup band? The lyrics are the kind that make you glad they're included with the tape. I haven't heard it yet on a full-scale sound system at high volume. The cops might show up when I do. It's incendiary blues and high-octane rock. And it still sounds great.
