Well - I was pleasantly surprised. This is good! After seeing these gals on the Smothers Brothers' rebroadcast in the 90s, I found their first album. Their R&B covers were nice, but it's their original material that blew me away. Why their record company didn't promote the medieval/hippie side of the band, I don't know, their original compositions, and the production is just beautiful. So happy so see both of their albums now on CD, with wonderful liner notes about the band. These girls are finally getting their much-needed resurgence (it is a shame Jeanette Jacobs is not around to enjoy it) to prove they really did make good music beyond their unusual appearances on a couple of 60s variety shows.
