Reviews Customer Reviews for Where We Belong While *NSYNC and BSB were making money, Boyzone was making music Rating: A wholesome and talented boy band who were pretty commercially successful but never quite received the mass exposure that some of their counterparts did. Though the band's style is less dance-oriented than that of some other groups, Boyzone is one of the best at sincere, heartfelt, boy-band ballads. Well arranged throughout, with great songwriting and rich melodicism, especially on "And I," "You Flew Away," and "Walk On (So They Told Me)." Solid proof that not all boy bands are cheesy.

Editorial Reviews for Where We Belong Audio Cd Amazon.com Looking for a more talented and sincere boy band than the usual tripe released by cute guys who can dance really well, who look cool in their videos, and whose latest tour is supported by a major cola company? Boyzone is your band. The music itself may be a tad bland, but the vocals are so well executed and the material itself (especially the covers of Tracy Chapman and Andrew Lloyd Webber) is strong enough to dispel any such criticism. The slow grooving and sensual "All the Time in the World," in particular, is a song so catchy you don't care who catches you singing along to it on the radio. An Irish act who've scored major hits in the U.K., it is a crime that in the U.S. the group has yet to become superstars. Maybe they can't dance? --Mike McGonigal
