Absolute enjoyment.     Customer Reviews for The Ultimate Collection Cd      A Great Disappointment      Rating:      Well, i was so thrilled to receive ULTIMATE COLLECTION a few weeks ago from U.S. (i am living here in Malaysia), to my surprise, the re-mastered sounded even WORST than the original albums. Re-mastered supposed to be better (check out the Re-mastered re-issued of PET SHOP BOYS complete titles, they really did a fantastic job there). I was so disappointed indeed. Most of the songs are edited, they should really considered release another 2-DISC GREATEST HITS album. Great songs/hits like "BEETHOVEN" "DON'T ASK ME WHY" "REVIVAL" "SEX CRIME (1984)" are all missing here on ULTIMATE COLLECTION. One star for the BEAUTIFUL cover, and other Star for I'VE GOT A LIFE. That's all folks. It ain't do any good for me. I already owned a EU Ultimate Collection, thought the re-mastered was bad enough, so I went ahead ordered another copy from U.S.hoping that it will sound better .... a geat disappointment. Shame ... shame ... shame .... P.s. Do not buy the Re-mastered album REVENGE and BE YOURSELF TONIGHT ... all sounded disappointing ... I rather listen to my old EURYTHMICS CD albums and singles ...
