Reviews Customer Reviews for Feast On Scraps Enhanced CD And Live DVD More garbage Rating: What the hell happened to Alanis.....up to Under rug she was a goddess, then under rug and onward she is just another Avril.....discraceful. This is unreleased songs for alanis's downfall album....no thanks.
Customer Reviews for Feast On Scraps Enhanced CD And Live DVD Cd A must have Rating: A great album, I don't know why these songs were left off Under Rug Swept as they are great so it is good that they have been put on an album of their own. The DVD was interesting, it was good to see some behind the scenes stuff, the writing and recording process, what her and the band get up to on tour and hear some personal stuff from Alanis. An excellent album with some excellent extras.
Editorial Reviews for Feast On Scraps Enhanced CD And Live DVD Audio Cd Amazon.com This isn't quite a live album, greatest hits, or rarities package, although it contains plenty of material that falls under all three columns. Rather, Feast on Scraps is a generous serving of everything Alanis. Its centerpiece is a CD featuring eight previously unreleased songs that were recorded during the Under Rug Swept sessions, plus an acoustic take on the hit "Hands Clean." Among the highlights here are a nasty Jagged Little Pill throwback called "Sister Blister" and a warmly seductive folk number approximating Joni Mitchell called "Offer." Then there is the DVD, brimming with superb live performances of sleek, dark pop hits such as "You Oughta Know," "Head Over Feet," and "Thank U." The set is rounded out with some delightfully candid behind-the-scenes footage (watch Alanis break down in tears during the writing of "Surrendering") that will make her fans gasp in delight. --Aidin Vaziri
